Finance Technician II- Cashier

Finance Technicians work under immediate supervision performing customer service and cashier duties; processing  payments and petty cash disbursements; reconciling cash receipts and petty cash; processing reports and bank deposits; preparing invoices and customer billings, reviews, processes and routes a variety of payments, forms, applications, journal entries, corrections, statements, and other related documents ensuring completeness and accuracy and performing other duties as assigned.  and performing other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma, or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.), plus three years of office experience involving financial records and demonstrated skills in typing, 10-keying, basic spreadsheet and word processing, including one year of utility billing experience is required for this position.

This is a public facing position working as the cashier for the San Dieguito Water District. The hours are 7:30 AM  to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday, with alternating Fridays off.
